French Organic Handmade Soaps

Formed by a process called «saponification» : the chemical process that occurs when a lye is combined with vegetable oil. We use a special mixture of cold-pressed Shea Butter with coconut oil for its foaming action. These benefited active ingredients of the Shea Butter have this amazing ability to stay intact during the soap making process. This is what we called «unsaponifiable». At this time, we add high quality virgin oils to give the soap a more specific skincare action, this referred as «superfatting».  These additional oils do not saponify which leaves them intact and active for the skin.  The soap bars take 4-6 weeks to cure.
 
As a result, not all the ingredients become soap; the leftover portion is called «unsaponifiable». With the «unsapponifiable» ingredients intact and active, we can enjoy the benefits of the active ingredients embedded in the soap.

	Alep soap 150g For face, body & hair. For all skin types, include sensitive or problem skin. Traditional soap with organic olive oil and laurel oil. Regenerating, healing, antiseptic and disinfectant. Ideal against eczema, acne, psoriasis, cradle cap, excess sebum and dandruff.
